Walk-in-interview for Junior Project fellow in the DBT, Govt. of India sponsored Research Project

A Walk-in-interview will be held for the appointment of a Junior Project fellow in the DBT, Govt. of India sponsored Research Project on ‘Tbx20 function in cardiomyocyte proliferation and survival following cardiac injury’ in the Department of Biological Sciences, Presidency University, Kolkata.

Date of interview: March 2 (Wednesday), 2016

Place of interview: Department of Biological Sciences (Zoology Section, 2^rd Floor, Baker Building), Presidency University (Erstwhile Presidency College), 86/1, College Street, Kolkata-700073, India.

Time of interview: 12:00 Noon.The candidates are requested to reach the venue by 11:30 am.

Post: One Junior Research Fellow.

Duration: Appointment will be for 3 years or till end of the project, and subjected to annual review for further extension that will be granted based on the research progress and accomplishments.

Salary: As per DBT, Govt. of India guidelines.

Essential qualification: i) First class M.Sc. Degree or equivalent in any area of Biological Sciences from recognized university and ii) a valid rank in CSIR/UGC NET JRF examination.

Desirable qualification: Applicants having at least 1-yearresearch experience in cell culture studies.
