Advertisement for a post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

A post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) - in the WBDST Sponsored Project “ Tectonic evolution of North Purulia Shear Zone in an area around Ishwardanga, Purulia, West Bengal, with special emphasis on origin of aplitic veins ” under the supervision of Dr. Gautam Kumar Deb is available for about two and half years till the end of the tenure of the project. Interested candidates may appear alongwith a CV in a walk-in-interview on June 25, 2018, at 11 AM, at the Department of Geology, Presidency University, 86/1 College Street, Kolkata – 700073 at 11 AM.

Eligibility : 1. Post graduate (PG) degree in Geology with at least 55% marks and qualified in a National Eligibility Test (NET/GATE).

Fellowship : Rs. 18,700/- p.m. for JRF (NET/GATE qualified) for the period till March, 2020 and Rs. 21,000/- p.m. till March, 2021.

Note: No TA / DA will be paid for attending the interview.
