Advertisement for the post of Project Associate at the Department of Life Sciences, Presidency University, Kolkata.   Date:06/05/2022

Online applications are invited from the suitable candidate who will work for the DBT-Builder programme, 2022 [BT/INF/22/SP45088/2022 dated 17.02.2022]. The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with project. The post is valid for one year at this stage and continuation of the post will be based on the performance of the candidate on year to year basis for next five years subject to the approval of Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India. Age limit - maximum 35 years as on the date of advertisement. Last date of application submission is the 13^th May, 2022.

Date of interview: 19^th May, 2022

Place of interview: Conference room of Department of Life Sciences (1^st Floor, Bakers Building), Presidency University, 86/1, College Street, Kolkata-700073, India.

Time of interview: 12:00 Noon Onwards. The candidates are requested to reach the venue by 11.30 am.

Essential Qualification : Master Degree in Natural/Agricultural Sciences/MV.Sc or Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Medicine from a recognized University or equivalent as per Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India.

Desirable qualification : Candidate with technical skill for handling instruments like GCMS/HPLC/AAS/SEM etc.. and with administrative experience for managerial work for running the above said programme, having 55% in M.Sc. or above will be preferable.

Monthly Emolument : As per DBT Rs.25,000/- pm + 24% HRA for two years and 28,000/- + 24% HRA for 3 years.
