Mission:

Presidency University has a fourfold mission.

The university aims to construct new academic domains by bridging social sciences with natural sciences into viable programmes through interdisciplinary methodologies and research.

Seeks to implement a comprehensive pedagogical reform by introducing students to basic as well as new interdisciplinary choice-based curricula and research domains.

Presidency University will connect with academic institutions outside India through
credit-transfer facility, e-connectivity, collaborative interdisciplinary projects, student exchange, and flexible pedagogical schemes, hosting scholars from outside India.

The University will create an ambiance and provide infrastructural facilities in which new ideas and research flourish, and from which the leaders and innovators of tomorrow will emerge.
