Job description: We are seeking a highly motivated Research Fellow to investigate the mechanistic roles of PHF6 and novel chromatin modifiers in regulating the epigenetic landscape during neural development. The primary aim of this research is to uncover the molecular etiology underlying Börjeson-Forssman-Lehmann Syndrome (BFLS) , a rare genetic disorder.
Key Responsibilities
- Mechanistic Research: Design and execute experimental workflows to elucidate how PHF6 and associated chromatin modifiers regulate neural epigenetics and developmental pathways.
- Scientific Dissemination: Author and contribute to manuscripts for publication in high-impact, peer-reviewed international journals.
- Collaboration & Networking: Actively establish and foster collaborative research links with partner laboratories within Presidency University and external research institutes.
- Multi-Site Experimental Execution: Conduct hands-on in vivo mouse studies and advanced molecular biology assays across multiple collaborating partner facilities, requiring regular local travel.
Enrolling for Ph.D.: The selected candidate may be allowed to enroll for Ph.D. program as per university rules.
