Walk-in-Interview for one Student Internship position in an ANRF-sponsored project   Date: 24/12/2025

Applications are invited for a Student Internship position in an ANRF-funded project entitled ‘Carbon Storage in Seagrass and Mangrove Habitats in India and Its Implications for Global Estimates of Blue Carbon Ecosystem Service’ at the laboratory of Dr Supriyo Kumar Das, Department of Geology, Presidency University, for the fulfilment of Scientific Social Responsibility.

Project Duration: 2 Months (8 weeks)

Fellowship: 5000/- per month

Date and mode of interview:An Interview shall be conducted at the Department of Geology, Presidency University on 07 January 2026 from 11 am.

Essential Qualification:

MSc in the field of Geology/ Applied Geology with a minimum of 55% marks. The candidate should have studied chemistry as a subject at the undergraduate level.

Desired Qualification:

Knowledge in organic geochemical extraction and analysis.

The Student Internship Programme is open for students studying at Indian Universities/Institutes.
