Walk-in-Interview for one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a NCAOR/MoES Funded project

One JRF position is available in National Centre for Antarctic and Ocean Research (NCAOR) sponsored project 'Marine biogeochemical response to Neogene and Quaternary climate: organic geochemical study of Bengal Fan sediments from lODP Expedition 354' under the supervision of Dr. Supriyo Kumar Das at the Department of Geology, Presidency University. The position is available for two years/ termination of the project, whichever is earlier. The position may be extended for one more year if funding available. Interested candidates may appear in a walk-in-interview on 30 June, 2017 at the Department of Geology, Presidency University, 86/1 College Street, Kolkata-700073.

Qualifications:

(i) M.Sc. in Geology, Applied Geology, Chemistry, Environmental Sciences or related disciplines with minimum of 55% marks.

(ii) Qualified in NET/GATE

Candidates having research experience in geochemical extraction of sediments/rocks are desirable.

Stipend :

Rs 25000/- plus HRA per month (as per MoES norms)
