Applications are invited for the Student-Internship position under DST-SERB project (Principal Investigator: Dr. Mery Biswas, Project Title: "Effect of Bridge construction on the Himalayan foothill Rivers: Hydro-morphology and Hazards, Darjeeling-Jalpaiguri District, West Bengal” funded by DST-SERB, Government of India, INDIA.

Post: One Student-Intern

Project Duration:2 Months (8 weeks)

Fellowship: 5000/- per month

Date of interview: 14.12.2023

Time: 2.30p.m(IST) onwards

Essential Qualification:M.A.;M.Sc. in Geography with minimum 60% marks from any recognized University. We expect prospective candidates to have reasonably good proficiency in sediment sampling, sediment physio-chemical analysis, statistical application, flood modelling and technical report writing.

4. The above position is purely temporary and is for the duration of the project only. Selected candidates will not be entitled to claim any regular appointments in this institute.
