A walk in Interview would be held on the 17.10.2016 at 13:20. at the Department of Sociology for a part time Field Investigator for a project funded by the ICSSR titled “Performing Childhoods, Performing Children: Childhood and Indian Theatre” under the project director Dr. Hia Sen.

Eligibility: Undergraduate and Postgraduate students from the Social Sciences may apply.

Essential Qualifications : The candidate must have familiarity with qualitative research methods (interview, dialogue, ethnography, transcription) and proficiency in at least any two of these languages: English, Bengali, Hindi, Kannada or Gujarati, and some knowledge of theatre.

Post: 5 Part time Field Investigators

Duration: Temporary (On a daily basis).

Time of Interview: 1:30 pm

Place of Interview: Department of Sociology, Presidency University, Kolkata

Emolument: As per ICSSR project rules.

A walk-in-interview will be held 17.10.2016 at the Department of Sociology, Presidency University, Kolkata. All interested candidates are requested to appear for an interview with the following documents in two sets. (documents must be self attested).

1.A detailed CV

3. Degree certificates (original and photocopy)

No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview. Selected candidates will have to join immediately on receipt of the offer.
