Walk-in-interview

A Walk-in-interview will be held for the appointment of a Project fellow in the UGC sponsored Major Research Project on ‘Asporin function in aortic endothelial cell mineralization and calcification’ in the Department of Biological Sciences (Erstwhile Zoology section), Presidency University onTuesday, October 6^th, 2015 at 12:00 Noon.

Date of interview: October 6 (Tuesday), 2015

Place of interview: Department of Biological Sciences (Zoology Section, 3^rd Floor, Bakers Building), Presidency University (Erstwhile Presidency College), 86/1, College Street, Kolkata-700073, India.

Time of interview: 12:00 Noon. The candidates are requested to reach the venue by 11.30 am.

Post: One Project fellow

Duration: Appointment will be for 3 years or till end of the project, and subjected to annual review for further extension that will be granted based on the research progress and accomplishments.

Salary: As per UGC guidelines

Essential qualification: First class M.Sc. Degree or equivalent in any area of Biological Sciences/ Chemistry from recognized university.

Desirable qualification: Applicants having (i) a valid rank in CSIR/UGC­NET JRF Examination and/or at least 1 year research experience in cell culture studies.

Interested applicants should report 30 minutes before the schedule time of the interview & submit the following documents:

The original certificates and mark sheets are to be presented before the Selection Committee on the day of the interview. Applicants arriving 30 minutes after the schedule time of interview shall not be called for the same.
