Course Objective:

The Microbiology Quality Control and Testing course aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of principles and techniques vital for ensuring microbiological quality in various industries. Participants will learn to perform effective microbial testing, evaluate results, and implement quality control measures. The course focuses on enhancing skills in sample collection, aseptic techniques, microbial identification, and data analysis usually followed by the industry. By the end, the participants will be equipped to maintain product safety, meet regulatory standards, and contribute to the overall quality assurance process in sectors such as dairy, food, packaged drinking water and medical devices.

Unit 1: Introduction to quality control in microbiology.

Unit 2: Microbial culture and identification techniques.

Unit 3: Quality control and microbial analysis of water, dairy & food Industries.

Unit 4: Microbial quality control of implants and medical devices.
