Tender for Roof Treatment Work at Derozio Hall

Sealed tenders in duplicate are hereby invited on behalf of Presidency University, 86/1, College Street, Kolkata – 700 073, in the prescribed form from reputed, bonafide and resourceful contractors for proposed roof treatment work at Derozio Building at 86/1, College Street , Kolkata – 700 073 of Presidency University, Kolkata.

Earnest money will be accepted in the form of Bank Draft/Pay Order drawn in the favour of Presidency University payable at Kolkata.

Tender papers and other details can be availed from the Planning and Development Office of Presidency University (on production of money receipt against cost of Tender document to be obtained from the Finance Office)from 14-10-2014 to29-10-2014 (except Saturday, Sunday and holiday, if any) between 11A.M. and 5 P.M.

Tenders in duplicate, will have to be submitted in two parts: Cover – I and Cover – II separately sealed and superscribed with the name of work.

Cover I shall contain Earnest Money, covering letter and all credentials and conditions, if any, stipulated by the tenderer.

Cover II shall contain the complete tender document duly filled and signed with stamp in all pages in duplicate. No condition stipulated in Cover II other than general rebates shall be accepted.

Tenders in Cover I and Cover II shall again be put in a separate sealed cover. This will be received upto 3 PM on 30-10-2014. Cover I and Cover II will be opened at 3.30 PM in the office of Registrar, Presidency University, Kolkata-700 073 on the same date in presence of the contractors or their authorized representatives who may like to be present. The University reserves the right to reject any or all of the tenders received without assigning any reason thereof. The right to not to accept the lowest bidder is also reserved by the University.

The University retains the right to cancel any of the items at a later date after the contract is awarded.
