About-
I am an Educator with more than Twenty Six years of Professional Experience at various capacities in Academia and in Industry. I am currently working as the Controller of Examinations at Presidency University, Kolkata with previous Experience in Academic Administration and Teaching, Industry and Research.
My Research Work had been in the field of Optical Spectroscopy. In brief, Optical Spectroscopic Studies of Supra-molecular systems with special emphasis on energy transfer phenomenon.
Research and Analytical Studies in the field of Air Pollution had also been my area of interest.
I had been experienced in the field of Quality Assurance and Environmental Affairs in Beverages and in Packaged Drinking Water under The Coca Cola Quality System (TCCQS) & The Coca Cola Environmental Management System (TCCEMS).

B.Sc. Honours in Chemistry, University of Calcutta, India.
M.Sc. In Pure Chemistry, University of Calcutta, India.
Ph.D. in Chemistry, University of Calcutta, India (at the Department of Chemistry, Presidency College).
Biography+
I, Surajit Bhattacharyya, have obtained PhD from University of Calcutta, India (at the Department of Chemistry, Presidency College). I am currently working as the Controller of Examinations at Presidency University, Kolkata with previous Experience in Academic Administration and Teaching, Industry and Research. Served University of Gour Bango at Malda and Calcutta Institute of Engineering and Management (under MAKAUT) at Kolkata, as an Administrator.
Acted as the co-ordinator of the Institutional committee for obtaining grants under TEQIP-II programme. Visited Engineering Staff College of India (ESCI), Hyderabad, India for Training and Workshop on “Quality Initiatives in Technical & Higher Educational Institutions (in compliance with NBA & NAAC Accreditation), during 2014.
Teaching for various professional courses including B.Tech. at Calcutta Institute of Engineering and Management as a Faculty member and also for B.Sc.(major Chemistry/General) courses at Netaji Nagar Day College (under CU) as a Visiting Faculty member had been integral parts of my career. Quality Management System and Environmental Management System had been domains of my earliest experiences before joining Academics. Qualified as a successful Internal Auditor under Training at The Coca Cola India. My research work had been in the field of Optical Spectroscopy and also had interest in Studies of Air Pollution with publications in various national and international Journals.

My Research Work had been in the field of Optical Spectroscopy. In brief, Photo-physical and Photo-chemical studies (steady state and time resolved absorption and emission at various temperatures including at liquid Nitrogen temperature 77K) of Supra-molecular systems with special emphasis on energy transfer phenomenon.
Research and Analytical Studies in the field of Air Pollution had also been my area of interest.

Quality Management System and Environmental Management System had been domains of my earliest experiences before joining Academics. Managed Quality System and Environmental affairs of Beverages and packaged drinking water manufacturing operations under The Coca-Cola Quality System (TCCQS) and The Coca-Cola Environmental Management Systems (TCCEMS). Qualified as a successful Internal Auditor under Training at The Coca Cola India. Obtained hands on experience in design, erection, commissioning and maintenance of Effluent Treatment Plant, Sewerage Plant, Air and Solid Waste Management.
