About-
During my school days, I was encouraged to acquire a School Atlas, and later, I received the Encyclopedia of Geography as a reward. These books, brimming with colorful illustrations and photographs, sparked my fascination with places, landscapes, and people. In the years that followed, the steadfast support of my teachers, elders, and friends has been pivotal in guiding my choices and nurturing my interests.
As an academic, I am deeply passionate about teaching and engaging in research. My teaching interests primarily focus on various branches of Physical Geography, with a specialization in Fluvial Geomorphology and Environmental Geography. My research interests include:
· Fluvial Geomorphology: Fluvial sediment transport and deposition: Processes and morphology
· Surface Water Hydrology: Flood hydrology, Hydro-meteorology
· Environmental Geography: Air pollution research, Environmental economics
