Sunday and Saturday involved 11 days The following days may be observed as sectional holidays for the employees of the different communities; i) Birthday of Guru Rabidas (for the followers of Guru Rabidas) on 16.02.22 (Wednesday) -1 day ii) Sab-e-Barat (for Muslims only) on 19.03.22 (Saturday) -1 day iii) Easter Saturday (for Christians only) on 16.04.22 (Saturday) – 1 day iv) Hul Diwas (for Adivasi (Santhal) only) on 30.06.22 (Thursday) -1 day v) Karam Puja to be notified later on. Holidays indicated above are subject to addition/alteration by the competent authority of the University. N.B: i) * In the year, 2022, the festivals/ occasions fall on Saturday and Sunday which are public holidays under the N.I. Act. ii) 20th January, 2022 (Thursday) will be celebrated as Founders’ Day of Presidency University. This is published by the Registrar under the direction of the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor. |
