WhatsApp Fraud Alert
It has been brought to our notice that few of our teachers /
officers/students received whatsapp messages (/call) from Hon'ble Vice
Chancellor Prof. Nirmalya Narayan Chakraborty and requested for transfer of
money .Please see the attached file.
They may further call from different numbers and they may use the names and
photos of different stakeholders.
Please note that this is a fraud call and all of you are requested to
not respond to such fraud calls and / or messages.
Here’s how to safeguard yourself from fraud on WhatsApp
1) Do not share your personal information with anyone

international country code.
3) Change Privacy settings to protect profile photo and other information
