Pre-departure briefing at the British Council -29 July

British Council will be conducting pre-departure orientation for students going to the UK to study this year. This will be held on 29 July 2016 at the British Council, L&T Chambers First Floor, 16 Camac Street, Kolkata 700 017 from 2.00 p.m. to 6.00 p.mThis is for students who are travelling to the UK for the 2016 term from east India.

The briefing will cover advice on the following:

· student visa application and immigration

· foreign exchange and travel

· arranging accommodation

· health and finances

In addition, the event will offer students a unique opportunity to network with others headed to the same university, town or region as well as an interactive session with UK alumni. They will also get an opportunity to explore student special deals from the sponsors.

This is what you need to do:

Students and parents are required to pre-register for the event at the British Council office (L&T Chambers First Floor 16 Camac Street, Kolkata 700 017) between 9.00 a.m. and 7 p.m., Monday to Saturday by 28 July 2016. A registration fee of INR 300 will be charged per person per ticket. You will be required to collect your ticket from our office latest by 28 July. Please carry a photocopy of your offer letter from the UK institution as well as your ticket on the day of the event.
