2011-2017: Ph.D. in Synthetic Organic Chemistry, Jadavpur University, Kolkata.
2008-2010: M.Sc. with Specialization in Organic Chemistry, Jadavpur University, Kolkata.
2005-2008: B.Sc. in Chemistry (Hons.), Jadavpur University, Kolkata.
- Recipient of Tushar Mahalanabis Memorial Medal for securing the highest position in 1st class with “Organic Chemistry” Specialization at the M.Sc. Final Examination in Chemistry, 2010.
- Recipient of Prof. Bidyut Kamal Bhattacharyya Memorial Medal for securing the highest marks in “Organic Chemistry” at the M.Sc. Part I and Final Examination in Chemistry, 2010.
Biography+
I earned my Ph.D. in Synthetic Organic Chemistry from Jadavpur University. My thesis, “Synthetic Studies towards the Construction of Novel Organic Skeletons with the Exploration of Photophysical Behavior and Bioactivity,” focused on developing new molecular frameworks with functional applications.
In 2015, I joined Dinhata College, Cooch Behar, as Assistant Professor in Chemistry and alongside taught Organic Chemistry at the postgraduate level at Cooch Behar Panchanan Barma University. Since October 2018, I have been Assistant Professor of Chemistry at Presidency University.

Research Interest: To design and develop new synthetic methodologies to access various bioactive complex organic molecules as well as pharmacologically relevant molecular scaffolds.
