About-
My journey in political philosophy has been a sustained engagement with the ideas that shape society. Early research on nationalism and democracy in India inspired a lasting interest in political theory, from Indian Nationalism and Hindu Nationalism to the works of Gandhi, Ambedkar and Savarkar. I have also drawn insight from Western thinkers such as Plato, Aristotle, Machiavelli, Rousseau, John Rawls, Robert Nozick, Amartya Sen and Martha Nussbaum, whose perspectives continue to inform my understanding of justice, governance and political ethics.
My research lies at the intersection of political theory, governance and social justice. I’m particularly concerned with democratic theory and public policy, examining how institutions can become more inclusive, accountable and responsive. I study transparency and information rights, including the Right to Information and the Right to Privacy, as tools to strengthen democratic accountability. I also engage with multiculturalism, identity politics, and dalit politics, exploring questions of equity, representation and marginalisation, as well as the influence of political ideologies and nationalism on collective identity.
Through my work, I seek to bridge normative theory with empirical analysis, contributing to a deeper understanding of governance, social justice and democratic life. I hope to extend this inquiry further, addressing contemporary political challenges while advancing scholarship in political thought.

Biography+
From a small village in the Prakasam district to the halls of prestigious universities, my journey has been one of determination and growth. I earned my B.A. from Nizam College with first-class honours, followed by a Master's in Political Science with distinction from Hyderabad Central University. My thirst for knowledge led me to complete both my M.Phil. and Ph.D. degrees from the same institution.
Life has been rich with experiences beyond academics. I served as a senior under officer in the NCC, taught part-time in schools and colleges, and even excelled in Yoga, ranking first in practical tests. This skill opened doors to teaching Yoga at major companies like TCS, Accenture, and Infosys.
My path has taken me from a village boy to a faculty member at Presidency University. It's been a simple yet remarkable journey, transforming from yesterday's 'nobody' to today's 'somebody'. As I look ahead, I see a long, exciting road filled with possibilities. This is just the beginning of a great adventure in academia and life.
