Final round of Admission to M.Sc Sem-1 Courses at Presidency University, Kolkata

Notice

Final round of admission to M.Sc Sem-1 course 2015 of Presidency University will be held on 28-9-2015 (Monday). Wait listed candidates who reported in the previous counselling held on 17-9-2015, may report to the respective Head of the Department (H.O.D) on 28-9-2015 within 11:30 a.m to 2:30 p.m for admission. The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of merit list and the number of seats available.

Interested candidates who reported in the first and second counselling but failed to turn up for admission on the scheduled date due to unavoidable circumstances, may also contact the respective H.O.Ds for admission to thesubjects in which the wait lists are exhausted. The name of such students must be in the first list or the waiting list as sent by the JEE Board and their admission will be also as per the merit list subject to the availability of seats.

Selected students will be asked to deposit necessary fees once they are selected for admission to a particular course.

*As there is no ST candidate in the waiting list it may be available for candidates of SC category also.

Mode of fee payment

The candidate is advised to follow the link https://www.onlinesbi.com/prelogin/icollecthome.htm

for logging for fee payment through SBI Collect. The candidate will have to provide the details in the SBI Collect page.

Payment can be made either

(i) online or

(ii) offline through any SBI counter.

For offline payment the candidate has to print the challan from the fee payment page after filling in the details. The challan has to be produced at any SBI bank counter for payment of admission fees. The period of fee payment either off line or online is 1^st October 2015, 10:30 AM to 3 ^rd October 2015, 4:00 PM.

After payment of fees

On successful completion of fee payment the selected candidates will have to report to their respective Heads of the Department for completion of admission procedures from 3^rd October to 5^th October 2015 between 10:30 am to 4 pm.

They should bring the following documents while reporting.

DOCUMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED AT THE TIME OF ADMISSION
on 28^th September 2015

1. Acknowledgement Slip given after counselling on 31^st July 2015.

2. Original Mark-sheet (10+2+3) and two self-attested photocopies.

3. Two stamp-size (2 x 2.5 cm) colour photographs (for identity card).

4. E-receipt in support of fee payment

5. If applicable, Income certificate of Parents/Guardian (any one of the following)

Ø Copy of the Income Tax Return

Ø Copy of Form 16

Ø Copy of the Pay Slip/ Salary Certificate from the employer

Ø Certificate from the Head of the Institution last attended
(for parents/ guardian working in unorganized sector)

6. If applicable, Original Caste Certificate (For SC/ST candidates) and two photocopies thereof.

7. If applicable, Original Medical Certificate and two photocopies thereof (For Physically challenged persons)

DOCUMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED TO THE HEAD OF DEPARTMENT BY 10^th October 2015, FAILING WHICH ADMISSION WILL BE CANCELLED:

A total of five Affidavits duly signed by the candidate and guardians on Anti-Ragging, Anti-Sexual Harassment and Anti-Racism will have to provided on Non-judicial Stamp paper during the time of admission. The text of these affidavits are provided below:

2. DECLARATION BY THE STUDENT ON SEXUAL HARASSMENT

3.DECLARATION BY PARENT/GUARDIAN AGAINST SEXUAL HARASSMENT

4. AFFIDAVIT BY THE STUDENT ON ANTI-RAGGING

5. AFFIDAVIT BY PARENT/GUARDIAN ON ANTI-RAGGING

The candidature will stand cancelled for those who do not submit their fees or do not report to the Departmental Heads by 10^th October, 2015. No further claim in this regard will be considered under any circumstances.
